When do you start annual goal planning?

We begin preparing each year in October.

Do you use a specific goal setting framework?

Yes, we utilize both a written goal sheet as well as a custom spreadsheet that gets heavily into the numbers side of things. We commissioned the custom spreadsheet from a data "person".

How do you foster accountability and keep goals top of mind throughout the year?

We keep each other accountable by dividing into groups including one that focuses on prospecting and client care and another that works on processes and administrative goals. Each group meets weekly to discuss progress.

In addition to that, our custom goal spreadsheet breaks down income goals into quarterly benchmarks. Our leadership team meets to review these each quarter.
